Silenziatore Akrapovic Yamaha R6 06-07, silenziatore Megaphone racing; prodotto NON OMOLOGATOFloor Plan, I know many of you are drooling over this beautiful terminal, but Akrapovic … but we must make a clarification.
Remember that mount terminals not approved can give endless trouble with our beloved police.
So if you're really enjoying the track sessions are watching right muffler:

Here is a nice description:

The line Slip-on identifies those that replace the muffler silencers simply by sliding.
The silencer Slip-on Akrapovic Combina in Benefits the original exhaust system with the performance of the typical racing exhaust silencers and, not to mention the remarkable value for money.
No change to carburetion or injection is required, no permanent change to the bike is needed.
Akrapovic has developed three silencers Yamaha R6, there are two “ EXAGONAL ” (racing or approved), the third is the ” MEGAPHONE “.
Versions ” EXAGONAL ” have the charm of the classic silencer Akrapovic joined the new hexagonal design, that this is the racing version has approved the dbkiller, and differ only by the fact that the approved version has the numbers stamped approval, (has the same list price of the racing version).
Version ” MEGAPHONE ” also comes with a dbkiller removable but it is not approved and is the choice for those who want to save money as well and have a silencer Akrapovic, really wants to make noise (clearly only on the track); size total length 290mm, 45mm spigot, output max width 50mm, 70mm max output, chamfer distance point on the frame pivot attachment bolt 220mm, max 150mm.

All three versions provide a fair power increase ensuring all systems of un'incremento power and torque.

Please note this silencer is mounted only on the original collectors and not aftermarket exhaust, requires the removal of the valve and cables (with obvious benefits), Instead it leaves attached to the electrical connection of the ex-valve motor up so that the unit is not seeing the removal of the valve, no signal error.

  2. mica know if I can adapt in some way that the drain on my r6 2001???please help me I want one thing I find gp style exhaust?well you respond to my e-mail if you know solutions

  3. Regarding the change of the discharge I advise you against. I have a r6 2001 arrow exhaust and air filter bmc. Was a real crap unless you constantly keep it above the 10000 rpm. Flow to the mechanic rebuilt the carburetor indecision before getting around to 8000 – 10000 turns left, nothing dramatic, but pretty boring. Original muffler and air filter reassembling the original seems to have bought more low to mid range performance. If you should do everything to change and install a Dynojet kit stage 1 iridium spark plugs and carburetor re epossibilmente. In this way improves everything together except the consumer…….

  4. prejudice…I serve a hand…
ke I read the entrance to the collector is 45mm and fits only the original collectors…I have the complete exhaust Giannelli hypersport, yamaha r6 course x 06, and the collector is about 54mm
do you mount? or I remove a few millimeters from the wheel?

  5. prejudice, I would like to mount a terminal r6 akrapovic megaphone of my 2001. E’ or can I do some changes to the attack or other????
